Position: Head of Priority Banking (Elite)

Job Summary:
– To lead, drive, guide and supervise the Priority Banking, Upper Mass, Wealth Management and Private Banking within the Retail Banking Group and ensure timely and effective completion of all activities within the agreed timelines and guidelines set and followed by the Bank.
– Boost the targeted segments and work towards achieving its business / marketing targets.

Job Responsibilities:
– Strategic planning and execute all Priority Banking and Upper Mass (Elite & Advantage) business initiatives, organize/plan Priority Banking and Upper Mass (Elite & Advantage) sales activities to generate sales volume and ensuring the Bank’s Priority Banking (Elite & Advantage) platform has a strong presence in the local market
– Achieve targets in terms of deposits, lending and credit cards products for priority banking and Upper Mass (Elite & Advantage) by explaining in detail to the customers falling under this category or by allowing the team mates to do the same and if need be provide extreme guidance to conduct the same.
– Establish and develop a dedicated Wealth Management business. Liaise with the management and stockholders in building the private banking offering.
– Assign and allocate targets to team members knowing their capabilities so that the targets are met within the assigned timeline and success is witnessed together.
– Lead the team to grow and achieve Priority Banking and Upper Mass (Elite & Advantage), Wealth Management and Private Banking business and client base. Deliver excellence and quality of customer experience to maintain good rapport and loyalty of targeted customers. Actively meet the clients existing and prospective. Effectively communicating and delivering enhanced wealth management services to our HNWI clients.
– Work towards cross selling of bank other products and services to other segments within the bank by explain the benefits of the same as per banks’ guidelines.
– Oversee opening and management of Elite centers within branches which could benefit that particular category of customers no matter where they reside but would be able to stay associated with bank by contacting the nearest branch having the facility.
– Ensure compliance with the CBO and banks code and perform primary risk analysis with respect to the applications/ documents given by the clients
– Work closely with Ubar Capital for business development and advising on investment portfolio to clients of Ubar Capital
– Leveraging U-Capital’s expertise and track record in executing high-profile financial
– Manage and organize bank events to attract potential customers to the banks.
– Manage and assist in the product development and elite marketing activities of the bank.
– Assist the Retail SME clients (non-borrowing) and help with the selling of products to the SME clients.
– Provide input, coaching and training support to the team along with how to improve performance and exceed goals, increase customer retention, customer portfolios and share of wallet.
– Ensure all activities are carried out according to bank’s policies, procedures, and standards.
– Participate in other related initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as assigned by management.

Business Understanding:

– Knowledge of the laws and regulations issued for the banking industry.

Work Relationships:
Internal: Top Management, DCEO, CEO, OAB Board Members, Line Managers of all departments, Branch Managers, Regional Managers, All Branches, IT, Risk, HR, Corporate Communication and Logistics departments.

External: Clients and Vendors, U-capital and Insurance Companies.

Qualification & Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Economics and Business Preferred)
– Masters in Management or MBA (Preferred)
– Investment Certification – (CISI) (Preferred)
– 5+ years of experience in similar roles in the banking industry with 5+ years of managerial experience.
