Job Title: Head of Centre of Excellence

Job Summary:
Ensuring Internal Audit Division activities are in compliance with regulatory and IIA standards (Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IPPF)) and supporting Chief Audit Executive in delivering strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
-Ensuring Internal Audit Division activities are in compliance with regulatory and IIA standards (IPPFs)
-Development, maintenance and custodianship of IA manual and ensuring its compliance at all times
-Scheduling Audit engagements and serve as a focal point for consolidating individual engagement level assessment and leave management
-Develop and implement a Quality Assurance and Improvement Program including a continuous quality Improvement plan to be executed by the DCAEs and IAD Team
-Perform ongoing internal quality assessment on an individual engagement level and implement improvements on a Divisional level
-Coordinate follow up and validation efforts to ensure timely closure and update of findings status
-Coordinate annual strategic and risk based internal audit planning related activities
-Prepare and coordinate delivery of various awareness sessions on GRC
-Coordinate and help support Fraud Risk Management in the performance of Fraud investigations
-Assist Chief Audit Executive in preparation and administration of BAC Meetings
-Responsible for managing relationship with 3rd parties including External Auditors, CBO, Statutory auditors
-Participate in other related initiatives and projects as assigned or other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Experience & Qualification Required:
-Minimum of 8 years work experience, preferably in related field
-Bachelor Degree + CIA / ACCA Qualified; or in the process of becoming qualified (At least cleared 1 of 3 CIA exams or 5 of 13 ACCA exams)
