Job Summary:
To assist Chief Risk Officer with managing operational risk, Stress testing, portfolio management and Loan Review Mechanism functions and activities.

Job Responsibilities:
– Oversee and supervise the annual self-assessment exercise of risk
and control with Business support and control functions.
– Conduct product risk assessment based on bank’s risk level and
strategic objectives.
– Lead the operational risk incident management function.
– Conduct Third Party (Vendors) risk assessment.
– Review Credit and market risk stress testing.
– Review and present the Credit portfolio pack including IFRS 9 data.
– Conduct the annual review of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment
Process (ICAAP)
– Supervise the roles under bank’s policy and procedures section.
– Leading the annual affirmation exercise along with the rest of the
bank’s units.
– Reviewing of bank’s approved committee charters status.
– Running and facilitating the risk committee’s meetings, including reviewing the packs and ensuring timely submission.
– Participate in meetings with business heads to clarify Loan Review
Mechanism reports and findings

Minimum Experience & Qualification Required:
– Minimum of 10 years of banking experience of which 7 years in risk
function.
– Degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent.
– Preferred Risk Management Professional Certification.
