Oman Arab Bank donates specialized Eye-Tracking computer systems to the Oman Associations for Special Need
From its full belief in the importance of its Corporate Social Responsibility in Oman and in line with a full schedule of events and contributions to the society, Oman Arab Bank arranged for the purchase and delivery of specialized Eye-Tracking computers to benefit the “Association for the Welfare of the Handicapped Children” and the “Oman Association for the Disabled”.
The devices called MyTobii are manufactured in Sweden especially for persons with Special Needs who cannot use their hands but can use their eyes. By simply looking at the monitor, the person can choose icons and words, listen to music, watch a movie and even control his environment. MyTobii opens up a new world for those who lost the world around them.
Representatives of Oman Arab Bank Mr. Bishara Qafeti and Mr. Majeed Al Asfoor delivered the MyTobii computers to the “Association for the Welfare of the Handicapped Children” and the “Oman Association for the Disabled” in the presence of the Managing Director of Consort World who explained and trained the staff on using the devices.
