OAB sponsors Exhibition of Investment & Capital Markets

Oman Arab Bank sponsored the Exhibition of Investment & Capital Markets which was held recently. The exhibition was launched by H.E. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Khusaiby, Secretary-General of the Ministry of National Economy in the presence of a number of officials and the participation of Muscat Securities Market, Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a large number of national, Gulf and international investment and real estate companies. Specialised financing companies also participated in the sponsorship of the same exhibition.

Majeed bin Abdullah Al Asfoor, Senior Manager - Marketing, Public Relations and Information, mentioned that OAB has been regularly sponsoring such exhibitions, as well as economical and financial activities. The bank’s pavilion in this exhibition, presented a package of integrated banking services and products to everyone as part of its continuous endeavour to satisfy the growing needs of the customers.

In this context, the bank has offered three new products which are: Al Dar Housing Loans, Mustakbal Higher Educational Loans and Markabati Car Loans, that is in addition to offering some of those products which meet the financing needs of real estate. Due to the growing number of tourism projects, the bank has signed an agreement with Muriya Tourism Development Company to finance the purchase of villas in ‘Shatti Al–Sifa’ and ‘Shatti Salalah’. Also as is known, Muriya is owned by Orascom Group of Companies and the Omani company, ‘Omran’. According to this agreement, OAB will provide real estate financing for the customers from Oman, GCC, including Omani nationals and expatriates.

During this month, the bank, signed an agreement with Al – Balushi Investment Co. on the project of ‘Mayar Al – Khoud’ according to which, OAB will provide the purchase of the villas financing.
