OAB  is continuously exerting efforts to ensure optimum security for customers when transacting online. Please pay attention to the following:  

 

  • Never reply to unsolicited emails asking you to disclose any personal or banking details. Oman Arab Bank will never ask you for such details (eg: User Name, password, Credit Card number, etc) through E-mail or SMS. If you receive such a request, please do not respond and report it to us immediately.
  • When you login to Oman Arab Bank Site look for the Security Certificate before entering the username and password.

  • Ensure your browser is updated, minimum requirements of a browser is Internet Explorer 7 and above with a cipher strength of 128 bit. 
  • Password minimum length and complexity requirements are as followed:

At least 7 characters Minimum 1 numeric (0-9)

Minimum 1 alphabetic (a-z)

Special Charcters are optional (&$%)

Users will not be able to use the last 4 passwords used on the online banking

 Password must be changed every 180 days.

  •  Failed logins of more than 6 attempts will disable the username. Kindly contact your nearest branch to re-activate the username.

  •  Inactive users of more than 180 days will be disabled. Kindly contact your nearest branch to re-activate the username.
