Never reply to unsolicited emails asking you to disclose any personal or banking details. Oman Arab Bank will never ask you for such details (eg: User Name, password, Credit Card number, etc) through E-mail or SMS. If you receive such a request, please do not respond and report it to us immediately.
When you login to Oman Arab Bank Site look for the Security Certificate before entering the username and password.
Ensure your browser is updated, minimum requirements of a browser is Internet Explorer 7 and above with a cipher strength of 128 bit.
Password minimum length and complexity requirements are as followed:
At least 7 characters Minimum 1 numeric (0-9)
Minimum 1 alphabetic (a-z)
Special Charcters are optional (&$%)
Users will not be able to use the last 4 passwords used on the online banking
Password must be changed every 180 days.
Failed logins of more than 6 attempts will disable the username. Kindly contact your nearest branch to re-activate the username.
Inactive users of more than 180 days will be disabled. Kindly contact your nearest branch to re-activate the username.
